Business Administrator Apprentice (KB Roman)

Duties will include:

  • Arranging maintenance for our properties
  • Document and report all to your immediate manager
  • Supporting tenants
  • Maintaining a good relationship between the landlord and tenant.
  • Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
  • Photocopying and printing various documents on behalf of colleagues
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries via phone and email
  • Scanning documents to various computerised systems
  • Arranging the pre-tenancy safety checks e.g. electrical and water, as directed by the Property Manager
  • Co-ordinating annual and periodic tests/ inspections (e.g. CP12, PAT tests, Electrical Inspection Condition Reports, )
  • Co-ordinating Renewal Inspections
  • Rent Reviews and Registrations of Fair Rents
  • Collection of rent arrears
  • Day to day maintenance issues
  • Collating documents for the Property Manager’s review to ensure all statutory obligations, in respect of residential lettings, are adhered to at all times (e.g. EPC Regulations, Right to Rent Checks, Smoke & C02 Regulations, Deposit Protection etc Liaise with external consultants and service providers e.g. Electricians, Gas Safe Engineers, Utility providers

Training to be provided

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)


  • Able to Drive full clean UK driving license
  • Living within a 5-mile radius
