Apprentice Operations Manager (A to Z Autoparts)

Daily duties include

  • Day to day leadership, management of employees
  • Provide logical, timely and credible advice to customers.
  • Ensure site assignment instructions, health and safety/operations manuals remain in date in accordance with our internal governance
  • Provide line management responsibility for performance, disciplinary, grievance and welfare issues under the guidance of the Human Resources Team
  • Support the recruitment, induction, and vetting processes of new starters in partnership with The Human Resources Team and in line with the requirements of the respective clients
  • Manage induction, onboarding, training requirements and provision, specific to contractual, authority obligation or regulation
  • Partner with the Resource Department in the management of employees’ annual leave, ensuring personnel take frequent leave throughout the year while maintaining operational effectiveness and efficiency on all sites
  • Uphold the organisational ethos, culture and values, abide by the company code of conduct and in accordance with the rules and guidance of the SIA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Effective problem solver – finds quick simple solutions
  • Identify problems before they become customer relations issues
  • Investigate and implement long term, sustainable solutions with the head of operations and install manager
  • Be able to manage customer expectations
  • Coaches, trains and develops a high-performance team

Level 5 Operations and Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
