Customer Service Advisor Apprentice

About the Employer

Formed over 30 years ago to fulfil the needs of the school wear market with a standard of service not experienced in the past. Brigade are market leaders in the school uniform sector with thousands of happy customers!

Duties will include:

  • Taking, investigating and responding to customer complaints via email and over the telephone
  • Updating customer information on CRM database
  • Tracking and processing of orders
  • Help and supporting the Key Account Management team with inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Supporting the PA to the Operations Director
  • Performing administrative tasks
  • Outbound call handling regarding address queries, returns and collections.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Experience of CRM is desired but not essential as full training will be given

*This role is office based, however, due to changes required in the workplace in response to Covid measures, working from home may be required and we have measures in place to support this.

Personal qualities

Basic qualifications including any administrative qualifications would be beneficial but not essential. We are looking for someone who wants to learn new tasks and be flexible in their role. As any employee will be required to email both internally and externally good knowledge of English and grammar is required.

Desired qualifications

GCSE’s at grades A*-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) in maths and English

Future prospects

Many of our staff have been with us for 5 years plus and we would be looking for someone who is looking for a secure placement in a company where they can learn many different aspects of office work and progress within the business.

Things to consider

As a provider of school uniform, our peak season is leading up to and over the summer period. We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure and be flexible in their working hours to support the business needs during this busy time.

Training to be provided

Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
