About the Employer

Coming Soon – New Year, New People. Optical People! We’re very excited to be opening our next brand new store in early 2022, right in the heart of the historical market town centre of Hinckley. So for the biggest selection of frames in your Highstreet, Optical People will be welcoming Hinckley customers with some amazing offers and the very best in warm and friendly eye care.

Duties will include

  • Building great rapport with customers by listening and understanding their needs.
  • Helping our customers find the perfect products tailored to their lifestyle and requirements.
  • Ordering and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses.
  • Providing aftersales support through adjustments.
  • Working together as part of a team.

Desired skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Confident, professional manner, able to demonstrate care and empathy.
  • Customer service experience, ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
  • Able to work flexibly and respectfully in a small team and use your own initiative when required

Training to be provided

Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
