Ben's Case Studies

I completed the level 1 employability Traineeship Programme with Wise Origin College. Having completed this programme, I have now started a Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with Wise Origin College. I was motivated to complete this course as I wanted to gain the skills necessary to achieve my ideal career. I wanted a career in digital marketing however I lacked the experience necessary to get a job in this sector straight away. I was told that through the traineeship I would gain work experience in the digital marketing industry. The initial information provided to me by Wise Origin College informed me about how the traineeship will be beneficial to my career and that it would help me progress into the job role I desired. Through the traineeship I had made some great friends and enjoyed my time in class. My tutor Humairaa was friendly and helped me settle into the new class with ease. Having gone from part time employment to the traineeship “full time”, my timekeeping/organisation was dramatically improved as I had to stay punctual. I also developed key interview and communication skills. During this programme my mentor, Humairaa, supported me with any queries that I had or with any troubles I was having at the time of my traineeship. It was really beneficial to have her as a mentor as she thoroughly explained things to ensure myself or my classmates understood. I would definitely recommend this programme to anybody who might lack in specific skills/qualities that might restrict them from getting their ideal career. In the future I’d like to progress my career in digital marketing and hopefully work in an automotive background in later life.
